FINANCIAL DISTRICT — German brews and bites have found a home on Stone Street.

Bavaria Bierhaus, an expansive German beer spot by the owners of the neighboring Beckett’s and The Dubliner, is set to launch on Monday.

The two-level restaurant, which sits on the cobblestone block between South William and Pearl streets, will feature more than 20 German brews, said co-owner Noel McDermott.

For added authenticity, the Bierhaus’s two massive bars were made in Erding, a town in the Bavaria region of Germany. The workers who constructed the long, wooden bars even flew to New York to assemble them, along with the high, circular tables common in beer houses.

The menu's entrees include wienerschnitzel, with braised red cabbage for $21 and a German meatloaf called leberkase, with scallion mashed potatoes and green beans for $22.

Smaller bites include warm pretzels and sausages, but the restaurant is also serving classic pub food, like burgers and salads, with a German twist.

“We’re really happy to get this open,” McDermott said. "We're looking forward to Monday."

Other Openings:

Red Hook's popular dessert shop Baked will soon open a second location at 279 Church St. near White Street. The bakery, known for its variety of treats — including cakes, cookies, pies, tarts and brownies— is set to open in the 4,000-square-foot space in early 2014, the owners said, after winning support for a beer and wine license from Community Board 1's Tribeca Committee.

Along with the addition of beer and wine, the Manhattan outpost will offer more savory fare, including quiches, sandwiches, panini, wraps and salads.
