RED HOOK — A luxury developer has revealed the renderings for the former New York Dock building that will be converted into waterfront apartments and studios.
The building at 160 Imlay St. will launch sales on Jan. 1, according to a new teaser website.
As Curbed first reported, the new renderings show the 70-unit warehouse’s exterior, an overhead view, the lobby and another room.
The Imlay Street building will also hold commercial space on the first two floors and a restaurant and grocery store at street level, DNAinfo New York reported last year.
“I’m going to market the place as a space for creative people,” Massimiliano Senise, a partner at Est4te Four, the Los Angeles-based firm who purchased the building for about $25 million, told DNAinfo New York in September.
Senise said the units would be “definitely affordable” for local artists, musicians and models.
Prices for the residential units have not been released.
