BOERUM HILL — Apartment 138 will close its doors this month after almost nine years on Smith Street, management said.

The restaurant first announced their departure from the neighorhood through a notice posted outside their 138 Smith St. space.

“Thank you for dining with us all these years!” the notice read. “We will miss serving you.”

Gillian Visco, the restaurant's manager, could not discuss the reasons for its closure, she said Monday night.

This weekend, Nov. 22, 23 and 24, will mark Apartment 138's final nights on Smith Street with a farewell party on Nov. 25 where food and drink specials will be served, Visco said.

"We're hoping to send off the place with a lot of love," she said.

Transformed from a ground-floor apartment to a Boerum Hill hangout, the restaurant features a  back garden and a game room complete with a foosball table.

The restaurant mostly served American fare like truffle mac & cheese, meatball sliders and roast pork belly.

Apartment 138’s owners also run Park Luncheonette in Greenpoint, Camp on Smith Street and Bar 4 in Park Slope, which closed in August.
