BROOKLYN — A Good Samaritan chased a would-be rapist from his stunned victim on Graham Avenue in Williamsburg after an early morning attack, police said.

The foiled attack happened last Friday, Nov. 8, as the 27-year-old woman walking alone at 4:20 a.m. near Scholes Street.

A man in his 30s, described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds, grabbed the victim from behind and threw her to the ground, striking her head against the sidewalk, police said.

He then attempted to rape her, but a passerby intervened, causing the attacker to flee, according to the NYPD.
