MIDTOWN — It's going to be one monster-sized bash.

The heavily hyped new nightclub Sankeys on West 36th Street is officially slated to open Halloween night, operations and event manager Morgan McLean announced last week.

The megaclub, which can hold about 800 people, is located at 29 W. 36th St. between Fifth and Sixth avenues at the site of the former District 36 nightclub.

District 36 is not affiliated with Sankeys owner Ibiza United, which opened the first Sankeys in Manchester, England, followed by a second in Ibiza, Spain.

DJs Reboot, no regular play, My Favorite Robot and Dave Rosario are scheduled to perform on Oct. 31, kicking off the first of three straight nights celebrating the opening.

District 36 closed last fall after clubgoer Michael Lin, 27, was found unconscious and bleeding outside the club and subsequently died. He'd sustained a broken jaw and bruising on his body, injuries consistent with a fall, the Office of the Chief Medica Examiner said.

The cause of and circumstances leading to Lin's death remain inconclusive.

"They're not affiliated with the old operator," McLean said of Ibiza United at a meeting in March. "He's what I believe to be a good operator in a tough business."

Ibiza runs parties across the globe, including the upcoming DUBFIRE show in Long Island City Dec. 7, and it has previously organized or promoted parties at major venues such as Roxy, Eugene's and Rush, McLean said.
