TRAVIS — The body of a man with a gunshot wound to the head was found in a Staten Island marsh behind a fire station on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The body was discovered about noon in the marsh behind Engine 154, near the intersection of Travis Avenue and Victory Boulevard, according to law enforcement.

Authorities said they were still determining the identity of the body, and whether the gunshot wound was self-inflicted or not.
