MANHATTAN — A fourth NYPD officer came forward Friday admitting he was riding with the road rage mob of motorcyclists involved in the vicious beating of a Manhattan father in Washington Heights nearly two weeks ago, DNAinfo New York has learned.

Sources said he now works on patrol in the department’s Housing Bureau, where he was recently transferred following a controversial stint in the NYPD’s Narcotics Division.

The name of latest officer to surface in the burgeoning scandal was not disclosed.

Sources say he arrived at his precinct early Friday and stunned his bosses and union representatives with the week-and-half overdue news that he was a witness to the clash between bikers and Alexian Lien, 33, along the West Side Highway on Sept. 29.

He did not provide them with any details of what he saw or what, if any, police action he took, sources said. NYPD officials and prosecutors are going to decide whether the NYPD will grill him or whether the Manhattan District Attorney's office will demand he go directly before the grand jury.

He also did not say why he waited nearly two weeks to come forward.

On Thursday, “On The Inside” disclosed that an Internal Affairs officer, Matthew Rodriquez, 28, emerged saying he was also riding with the motorcycle horde.

The stunning revelation about Rodriquez came as undercover NYPD Det. Wojciech Braszczok, 32, was arrested and charged for allegedly participating in the assault on Lien, who was dragged out of his car and beaten and stomped.

Braszczok initially came forward claiming he did nothing to stop the attack because he feared blowing his cover, which had previously included infiltrating Occupy Wall Street protest before the NYPD crashed their encampment in Zuccotti Park in 2011.

Video, however, captured his violent actions, prosecutors revealed.

The NYPD has yet to take any action against the Housing officer or Rodriquez.

DNAInfo New York reported as many as six NYPD officers were riding with the swarm of motorcyclists who surrounded Lien’s vehicle, including Det. Samir Gonsalves, who was recently arrested along with his prosecutor girlfriend in an unrelated domestic squabble.

Lien was celebrating his wedding anniversary with his wife and child with a drive on the West Side Highway when his SUV was surrounded by motorcyclists.

Lien bumped the back of one of the motorcycles, angering bikers who began pounding on his SUV with their helmets and slashing his tires, police said. Lien hit the gas to get away and drove over three bikers, including one who was critically injured, police said.

Furious motorcyclists pursued his Range Rover up the Henry Hudson Parkway until they caught up with him on West 178th Street, where Lien was again surrounded and his car smashed. He was dragged to the pavement and assaulted before good Samaritans stepped in.

Video recorded on a motorcyclist’s helmet camera captured much of the action and went viral on the web.
