INWOOD — Two Inwood streets will be closed to parking this Sunday in order to accommodate a bike tour that will run through the area.

The NYPD 34th precinct announced Wednesday that both lanes of Indian Road between West 214th and 218th Streets as well as the north side of West 218th street will be tow away zones on Oct. 6 between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The shut downs will be caused by the 29th annual Bike MS cycling tour, which will run through the area from approximately 7 a.m. till noon.

The bike tour, which benefits Multiple Sclerosis, will take participants through Inwood from the Harlem River Drive to the Henry Hudson Parkway. Riders will travel north on 10th Avenue to West 218th Street, then west to Indian Road. The route will then take riders south on Indian Road toward West 214th Street and Seaman Avenue before continuing on Seaman Avenue to Riverside Drive and the Henry Hudson. The route will include a rest stop for cyclists in Inwood Hill Park at West 218th Street and Indian Road.

The 30-mile bike tour wraps around Manhattan, beginning and ending at Pier 94.
