FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Albert Allaham considers himself an expert when it comes to meat.

“For nearly 200 years, my family have been kosher butchers,” Allaham said. “We know quality.”

Now, Allaham, 27, is trying to turn his quality cuts into a successful restaurant.

Allaham and his family, who run popular Brooklyn butcher shop The Prime Cut, are set to open a 300-seat kosher steakhouse inside luxury Financial District building The Setai on Oct. 15.

Their upscale Reserve Cut will feature a selection of 10 types of prime steak from their shop, all of which will be dry aged in the restaurant’s own private aging room.

But the menu, which Allaham said is still being tweaked, will be French- and Asian-inspired. Aside from steaks, sample entrees include glazed veal sweetbreads with fava beans, chestnuts and turnips; rack of lamb; and wagyu angus ribs.

There will also be some non-meat dishes, Allaham said, including salt-baked branzino. Prices for entrees will range from $32 to $58.

The restaurant, which will feature a variety of kosher wines and a full cocktail menu, will also have a separate sushi bar, wine room and areas for private dining.

"I kept eating at kosher restaurants in Manhattan and couldn't find the quality I was looking for," Allaham said. "This restaurant will fill that space — this is kosher fine dining."
