WILLIAMSBURG — On Sunday, fans of television’s most notorious chemistry teacher-cum-meth dealer will have to say their goodbyes to Walter White and AMC’s “Breaking Bad”.
Grieving the loss of one of the most popular television series of the past decade won’t be easy. That’s why plenty of booze, snacks, trivia and the fellowship of other die-hards will make the whole ordeal go down smoother than a hit of White's signature product.
Here's where to farewell “Breaking Bad” this Sunday.
Videology
Williamsburg’s go-to spot for a social TV and movie experience is Videology, a video rental shop and bar located at 308 Bedford Ave. When they aren’t putting on “Arrested Development” bingo or holding a movie trivia night, this is a reliable spot for screenings of the shows that are the talk of the town. Sunday night will be no different, with a live screening of “Breaking Bad.”
Brother Jimmy’s
This Union Square party bar is known for raucous good times — maybe not meth party-level fun, but close enough. In honor of their screening event, the East 16th Street location will offer drinks specials — $3 PBRs and Nattys, $15 Blue Swamp Waters and $5 Carolina Coolers made with blue rock candy, a nod to Mr. White’s signature color choice.

If you want to watch the finale with other people, but don’t want to risk missing a single word of dialogue, head to Greenpoint bar t.b.d. where “we broadcast the audio through our sound system so everyone can hear every snap, crackle and pop,” manager Diane Foley said. Themed cocktails are on sale for $7 and include ‘Cristal Meth’ (prosecco and Blue Curacao) The Heisenberg (vodka, Blue Curacao and lime juice) and Pollos Hermanos (tequila, Blue Curacao, lime juice and sour mix).
The Exley
The proprietors of The Exley in Williamsburg have been passionate about Walt and Jesse since the very beginning. With the culmination of the series, the bar will offer “Breaking Bad” trivia questions and drink specials to complement the live screening. Show up early to claim a spot, because seating is available for 45 guests, but about 100 people have been regularly showing up for the weekly “Breaking Bad” screenings.
Bronx Beer Hall
Uptown fans won't have to travel far to find like-minded fans of the show. The Bronx Beer Hall in the Arthur Avenue Retail Market will be offering five dollar specials on all draft beers and a selection of wines. Kick back with one of these pours while taking in the show on one of the bar's many flatscreen TVs. Be sure to arrive by 8 p.m. to secure a seat.
“From Mr. Chips to Scarface: Walter White’s Transformation in Breaking Bad” at Museum of the Moving Image
Since July, the Astoria museum has had a collection of artifacts from the show on display, all of which help to chronicle protagonist Walter White’s descent into moral depravity. A live screening of the final episode will be held at 9 p.m Sunday. The exhibit will be open from 7 to 9 p.m. night so that fans can peruse the galleries before the screening. While the event is sold out, the Museum said tickets may become available at the door starting at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, on a first-come, first-served basis, for $12.
