NEW YORK CITY — Subway service changes will affect 11 train lines this weekend, including major disruptions along the G and M lines, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said.

With eight stations closed on the G line, and service suspended between Middle Village and Myrtle Avenue on the M, passengers in parts of Brooklyn and Queens should be prepared for long trips. Additionally, Hurricane Sandy recovery work and the installation of a drain pipe in Times Square will take its toll on the N and R.

Here is a line-by-line breakdown:

4 Train: Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue-bound trains will run local from Grand Central-42nd Street to Brooklyn Bridge — from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.

5 Train: Passengers should expect southbound trains from Dyre Avenue to East 180th Street to run express at 5:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 7:45 a.m. to 7 p.m Sunday. Southbound trains between Grand Central-42nd Street and Brooklyn Bridge will run locally.

Trains will also run every 20 minutes between Dyre Avenue and Bowling Green from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

6 Train: Trains heading to Brooklyn Bridge will run express from Pelham Bay Park to Parkchester from 11:45 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Monday.

A Train: There will be no A train between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Blvd/Howard Beach-JFK Airport from 12:01 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Instead, A trains operate in these two sections:
- Between Inwood-207th Street and Euclid Avenue
- Between Howard Beach-JFK Airport and Far Rockaway

A free shuttle buses will operate along two routes:
- Euclid Avenue and Howard Beach-JFK Airport, making stops at Grant Avenue, 80th Street, 88th Street, Rockaway Boulevard, 104th Street, 111th Street, Lefferts Boulevard, Aqueduct Racetrack and Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue.
- Euclid Avenue and Howard Beach-JFK Airport trains will run nonstop.

Passengers can transfer between trains and shuttle buses at Euclid Avenue and/or at Howard Beach-JFK Airport. The Rockaway Park Shuttle service will run as normal.

Brooklyn-bound A trains will run local from 125th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle between 12:01 a.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Monday.

D Train: D trains heading to Coney Island will make local stops from 145th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle from 12:01 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.

F Train: F trains traveling to Coney Island will be rerouted along the M line after 36th Street in Queens to 47th-50th Streets. The rerouting will kick off at 11:15 p.m. Friday and come to an end at 5 a.m. Monday.

Passengers taking Coney Island-bound F trains between Jay Street-MetroTech and Church Avenue should expect them to run express from 11:30 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

G Train: There is no G train between Church Avenue and Hoyt-Schermerhorn from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Customers should take the F instead. If riders need to make a connection between the F and G, their best bet is to take the A or C between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Jay Street-MetroTech.

The G will also operate along two routes:

- Between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues.
- Between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Hoyt-Schermerhorn, every 20 minutes.

M Train: M service is suspended at Fresh Pond Road, Forest, Seneca, Knickerbocker and Central avenues from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Free shuttle buses will be making all stops between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle Avenue.

N and R Trains: Because of Sandy repairs, there are no N or R trains running between Court Street in Brooklyn and Whitehall Street in Manhattan. Late-night N and weekend R trains are rerouted over the Manhattan Bridge.

There will be no N or R trains in either direction at Jay Street-MetroTech, Court Street, Whitehall Street, Rector Street, Cortlandt Street and City Hall.

Late-night R shuttle service in Brooklyn is unaffected.
