JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police are hunting for a man that allegedly ripped a gold necklace off a 3-year-old girl on August 30 at a McDonald's restaurant, cops said.

The NYPD released a surveillance video of the man — who is seen following the mother and little girl inside the McDonald's, then following them upstairs before heading casually down again — on Friday and are asking for the public's help identifying the man.

The man first was seen at 1:47 p.m. following the girl into a McDonald's at 37-59 82nd Street in Jackson Heights, police said.

Police said the suspect pulled the gold chain off the little girl on the stairs, and then took off into the street. The suspect is believed to be around 40 years old, balding, and was last seen wearing a grey button-down shirt and jeans.
