BUSHWICK — When she storms the stage in a "reverse striptease," peeling on layers of her warrior princess costume to  the tune of Little Richie's "The Girl Can't Help It,"  Babes Trust won't just have the spotlight — she'll have one of the coveted spots in this year's Bushwick drag fest lineup.

The second-annual Bushwig festival has twice as many acts — nearly 60 — as last year and received inquiries from more performers than it could accomodate.

"We literally had to start turning people away," said Trust, who founded Bushwig last year to unite the Brooklyn "gender-bending" scene, adding that the event has an overflow of interested performers.. "I feel like everybody is a drag queen now. There are so many it's insane."

With the abuandance of performers, Trust (birth name Simon Leahy) said Bushwig has an even "more diverse" cast than its inaugural event.

"We have a whole range of colorful queer drag queens," Trust said.

Beside the entertainment, there will be local food trucks on hand to sate hungry revelers.

Trust and her friend Matty Horrorchata (Matthew Mendoza) started Bushwig by taking inspiration from the East Village's Wigstock drag fest of the 1980s and '90's — and they emphasize the experimental and artistic nature of the performance.

"I'll have three looks," Trust said, noting first she'll play the "traditional" woman, then "alien chic," and finally the warrior princess.

"It's going to be crazy."

Bushwig occurs this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Secret Project Robot. More details can be found on the event's Facebook page.
