SUNSET PARK — Two men were in police custody after a double shooting left one man dead and another in the hospital Sunday, police said.
Jonny Rosado, 35, was killed after he was shot in the face at around 1:15 a.m. in front of a house on 39th Street near Seventh Avenue in Sunset Park, police said. Rosado was rushed to Maimonides Hospital, but declared dead on arrival, cops said.
Another man, 24, was found with a gunshot wound to the leg, but was rushed and secured in stable condition at Lutheran Hospital on Sunday.
Police took two individuals into custody, and are continuing to investigate, police said. Rosado lived just a block away, on 40th Street near the park, police said.
