COBBLE HILL — Turkish denim brand Mavi Jeans is opening a location on Smith Street, their second Brooklyn shop, this fall.
The international jeans brand, founded in Istanbul in 1991, will open its first boutique in Park Slope at Fifth Avenue and Union Street, later this month.
The Cobble Hill location, to be found at 90 Smith St., will be ready for shoppers mid-September, a spokeswoman said.
Mavi Jeans did not immediately respond with details of the new shop.
The designer brand has stores all over the world, selling denim and sports apparel for men and women, as well as their own maternity line.
Their new Park Slope outpost caused a stir in the neighborhood, this week, after it covered a ‘quirky’ mural on its building with chocolate-brown paint.
