WEST VILLAGE — Greenwich Avenue local design house Save Khaki is known for its well-made menswear basics.
Established more than four years ago, the collection is streamlined, timeless and translates well in to any wardrobe, as essentials for all seasons.
Most of the products are made in the U.S.A., and draw inspiration from classic workwear, espousing a philosophy of “less but better”.
While shooting the Save Khaki collection, Street Chic couldn't help but notice designer Calvin Klein purchasing at least dozen pairs of trousers and several shirts from the store. Save Khaki salespeople confirmed he tends to buy two or three pairs of trousers in each of their styles.
A slate gray fitted t-shirt layered with a blue-shirt is a great complement to fitted steely blue cotton jean.
Get the look: Save Khaki t-shirts $40 to $55, pants and shorts $90 to $110, Henley shirts $150, and tailored shirts-$100 to $125.
