OZONE PARK — Three individuals were rushed to the hospital on Saturday after a fire broke out at a hair salon in Queens, fire officials said.
The 11:16 a.m. blaze tore through Gloria's Salon, Inc., at 87-19 Sutter Ave. and crept up to the second floor which appeared to be residential, a spokesman for the FDNY said.
The banner identified the hair salon as a Domincan stylist, a recent image on Google Maps shows.
Twelve units responded to the all-hands fire, and three people pulled out from the flames were sent with severe injuries to Jamaica Hospital, the spokesman said.
The fire was under control at 11:51 a.m.
