Two Men Wanted for String of Burglaries on Staten Island

NEW BRIGHTON — Police are searching for two men wanted for nabbing electronics and jewelry from a host of homes in Staten Island from April until June.

Police said Tylek Brooks, 17, and Shaquan Williams, 23, entered the rear windows or forced open the front door of seven homes in New Brighton, Stapleton and Tompkinsville starting on April 29 and made off with electronics, jewelry and money.

The last reported robbery related to the pattern occurred on Tuesday, June 11, at 8:00 a.m. at a home on York Avenue in New Brighton, cops said.

Police described the suspect Brooks, who lives in The Bronx, as a 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. Williams was described as 5-foot-7, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
