NEW YORK CITY — A group of armed robbers forced their way into an elderly woman's Crown Heights home, tied her up and stole jewelry, according to the NYPD.

A female suspect — flanked by four male accomplices — rang the 87-year-old victim's doorbell around 6:25 p.m. on June 15, cops said.

When the woman answered the door, the four male suspects forced their way inside her apartment, where they tied the victim up and rummaged around her grandson's bedroom, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said Wednesday.

"They take property out of that bedroom, a Rolex watch and another expensive watch and some earrings," Kelly said Wednesday.

Surveillance video captured the suspects leaving the building, where the female is seen carrying a tote bag.

The male suspects range in heights between 5-foot-7 and 6-foot-2, while the female suspect was 5-foot-1, according to cops.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
