HELL'S KITCHEN — A homeless man was slashed across the face just blocks from Penn Station Monday morning, officials said.

The man was knifed on 37th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues about 10:11 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said. His attacker, who is also believed to be homeless, was drunk at the time of the incident, police said. The victim also may have been intoxicated, police said.

The pair were known to each other, police said. Their names were not immediately released.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries, the official added.
