COLUMBUS CIRCLE — An elderly woman was found dead on the 1 train subway platform early Friday, police said.
Cops found the woman, 70, lying on a bench unconscious and unresponsive at the station, located at 59th Street and Columbus Circle, on the southbound platform about 2:19 a.m., police said. There were no signs of foul play, cops added.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, police said.
