WEST HARLEM — A man was stabbed just blocks from the Columbia University campus Wednesday night, officials said.

The 21-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest at West 118th Street and Morningside Avenue near Morningside Park just after 9 p.m., FDNY officials said.

The man, whose identity was not released, was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was in stable condition, a fire spokesman added.

It was unclear whether the victim was a student at the school.

The NYPD did not immediately have information about the stabbing, and it was unclear if anyone has been arrested.
