BROOKLYN — A man was killed and a woman seriously injured during a double shooting outside an East Flatbush club early Monday morning, authorities said.

The male victim, 31, was found shot several times to the body in front of 1552 Ralph Ave. after police responded to the call about 2:14 a.m., the NYPD said. He was transported to Kings County Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

The female victim, 26, was struck by bullet in the left knee and taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said Monday.

Neither of the victims was immediately identified by authorities. Kelly said it appeared that the shooting stemmed from a dispute inside the club, but the two victims did not know each other.

Fourteen 9-millimeter shell casings were found at the scene, Kelly said.

There had been no arrests as of Monday afternoon and an investigation was ongoing, police said.
