CARROLL GARDENS — Raising a tiny tot in Brooklyn? Wipe away those tears.

The Brooklyn Baby Expo is heading back to the borough for its second year of talks, raffles, gift bags and mini-workshops with authors, experts and even local Brooklyn moms discussing practical tips for new and expecting parents.

“We’re educating parents about different parts of being a parent,” said Kim Janulewicz, co-owner of “A Child Grows in Brooklyn,” one of the borough’s leading parenting blogs, who is hosting the event on June 2 at the International School of Brooklyn.

From baby gear to technology to “Raising a Good Sleeper,” the expo showcases a number of resources particularly for new moms and dads, according to the blog. There will also be hands-on testing of baby products like strollers and carriers.

One of the seminars, “Photosanity,” teaches parents how to manage photographs, particularly for those who can’t stop snapping pictures of their newborn babies but still keep "missing the moment."

And if you’re looking to create your own homegrown organic baby meals, food demos will be held every hour to teach parents how to make nutritious tasty kid chow.

Playrooms and courtyard concerts have been planned for little ones, said Janulewicz, who encouraged parents to bring their kids under three years of age.

Janulewicz took over the baby blog in January along with Nicole Horner, who co-owns and edits the famous blog with her. The Brooklyn Baby Expo, which was last held in March 2011, will be their biggest event so far with about 500 parents expected to attend, she said.

“It will...have a festival-type feel to it,” she said.

The Brooklyn Baby Expo will be held on June 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the International School of Brooklyn (447 Court St.), in Carroll Gardens. Tickets can be purchased at the door or here.
