Missing UES Teen Mom and Baby Found, Police Say

 Tanisha Roman, 16, and her 6-month-old daughter Matalie, dissappeared from their shelter on Saturday, May 11 2013 at approximately 5:15 p.m. but have since been found and are safe, according to the police department.

UPPER EAST SIDE — A 16-year-old and her infant daughter who went missing early Saturday evening have been found and are "in good condition," according to the New York Police Department.

Tanisha Roman and her 6-month-old daughter, Matalie Mora, were reported missing after leaving the Inwood House Maternity Residence, a shelter located at 320 E. 82nd St., at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Saturday

At approximately 1:20 p.m. on Monday, police said that Roman and Mora have since been found and are in good condition.

Roman has run away from the shelter on previous occasions, police told DNAinfo.com New York.

No other details are immediately available, police said.
