NEW YORK CITY — Ten people were hospitalized Friday after a major car accident on Cross Bay Boulevard in Queens, fire officials said.
Emergency workers received a call at 4:33 p.m. about the three-car crash in Broad Channel.
Authorities said the victims were transported to Jamaica and Brookdale Hospitals, where three are being treated for critical injuries.
Five others are in serious but stable condition, while two more are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Cross Bay Boulevard is closed in both directions as police and emergency workers are still on the scene.
