QUEENS — Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted two 7-year-old girls in separate incidents in South Ozone Park on Wednesday.

One of the girls was sitting on the stoop of her house in South Ozone Park about 2:45 p.m. when police said the man approached and grabbed her buttocks.

The young girl's 12-year-old sister, who was also on the stoop, yelled at the man, and he fled, police said.

About three hours later, another 7-year-old girl was standing in a South Ozone Park driveway when a man who police believe is the same suspect allegedly approached and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled.

Police described the suspect as a 6-foot, 160-pound man in his 20s and released video of him wearing a blue hoodie with unknown white writing on the front and dark jeans, carrying a purple backpack.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS, or long onto the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text tips to 274637(CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
