Red Bull Bandit Holds Up Brooklyn 7-Eleven at Gunpoint

GERRITSEN BEACH — A thief who robbed a Brooklyn 7-Eleven at gunpoint took off with a case of Red Bull and a roll of paper towels in addition to cash, cops said.

The suspect is wanted in connection to four convenience store robberies, police said, the most recent taking place Sunday night at a 7-Eleven at 2702 Knapp St. in Gerritsen Beach.

Cops say the man approached the counter with a case of Red Bull and roll of paper towels before drawing a gun and demanding money from the cashier.

The suspect is described as a man wearing "gold turban type head gear," a brown jacket, blue jeans and brown sneakers, according to police.

The man is wanted for three similar robberies that took place this month at two convenience stores around Gravesend, police said.
