NEW YORK CITY — A 38-year-old man was arrested after he stabbed his younger brother to death in a Brownsville apartment building Tuesday evening, cops said.
Jamel Staton got into a dispute with 35-year-old Oufmon Staton inside 335 Blake Ave. about 6:50 p.m. when he plunged a knife into his brother's neck, according to the NYPD.
The younger Staton was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The older brother was taken into custody at the scene, where police also recovered the knife, cops said. He was charged with murder and criminal obsession of a weapon, according to cops.
