BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — The popular outdoor movie series at Brooklyn Bridge Park is coming back this year to take viewers on a trip around the world.

The 13th annual festival, called Syfy Movies With A View, will kick off July 11 and will take viewers on an international journey with the theme with films set as close as Chicago and as far away as London. The theme of the series is “With Love From…”

"The Committee again worked tirelessly, reviewing and discussing hundreds of films, before settling on eight wonderful and diverse city films,” said Hilary Tholen, spokeswoman for The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.

Syfy Movies With A View gives visitors the chance to grab a seat on the lawn, kick back under the stars, and watch a film with the Manhattan skyline as the backdrop.

This year's films include Ferris Bueller’s Day Off — set in Chicago, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory — set in London, Rocky — in Philadelphia and Vertigo — filmed in San Francisco.

And in Movies With a View tradition, the public will get a chance to vote on the final film of the series. The choices are Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Good Will Hunting, and Lost in Translation.

The full summer lineup can be found here.
