Man Raped, Assaulted Women in Separate Incidents in Bushwick, Cops Say

BUSHWICK — A man raped a woman earlier this month and forcibly touched another victim in separate incidents in Bushwick, according to the NYPD.

On April 6, the suspect approached a 37-year-old woman in the confines of the 83rd Precinct, which polices Bushwick, and placed an unknown object against her back, police said. He demanded money and rifled through her pockets, but when the victim said she didn't have any money, he raped her, cops say.

Back on February 1, the suspect pushed a 39-year-old woman to the ground and grabbed her buttocks and breasts over her clothing, on Woodbine Street, NYPD says. When the victim fought the suspect off, he fled the scene, police said.

Now cops are asking for the public's help in tracking the man down. He is described as being in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-9-inches tall, weighing about 165 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black jeans, cops say.
