FORDHAM — Cops were hunting for a man who robbed a 56-year-old woman at gunpoint inside her apartment building last month.
The woman had just entered her building Feb. 24 around 10:20 a.m. when she heard a knock at the front door. She opened it for the suspect, who was armed, police said.
The man then followed the woman into the lobby, removed her pocketbook and fled, police said. The woman was not injured.
The suspect is described as 25 years old, about 5-feet-7-inches and 180 pounds.
