Body Discovered by Dog Walker in Forest Park

WOODHAVEN — A man walking his dog Sunday morning made the grisly discovery of a man's body at the edge of Forest Park, police said.

Cops responding to a 911 call of a fire said they came across a man walking his dog instead at 11:40 a.m.

The dog-walker told police his dog had come across a man's body in blue jeans and brown boots at Freedom Drive and Park South Drive along the park's edge, cops said.

Rescuers pronounced the unidentified man dead at the scene.
