UPPER EAST SIDE — A 23-year-old Brooklyn man was struck and killed while crossing the FDR Drive early Saturday morning, police said.

Jason Morales, of Flatbush, was struck by a 1993 blue Honda sedan while he was trying to cross the highway near East 63rd Street at 1:07 a.m. on Feb. 23, police said.

A 911 caller reported the accident, and police arrived to find Morales lying in the center lanes of the northbound FDR with severe bodily injuries, police said. He was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital Center and was later declared dead from his injuries, police said.

The driver remained on the scene, and police said no criminality appeared to be involved, but that an investigation was ongoing.
