CLINTON HILL — A van slammed into a 13-year-old boy near the Raymond V. Ingersoll Houses early Wednesday morning, leaving him critically hurt, fire officials and police said.

The gray 2008 Ford van was traveling east on Park Avenue when it slammed into the boy, who stepped into traffic from between two parked cars and crossed against the light near Cumberland Street about 6:45 a.m., according to FDNY and NYPD.

The boy was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center in critical condition, officials said.

The front of the van, which stayed on the scene, was visibly damaged in the accident.

Police don't suspect any criminality was involved.
