Bronx Teen Arrested for Double Shooting That Killed Young Man at Party

By Patrick Wall | February 11, 2013 7:25pm

MORRISANIA — A Williamsbridge teen who allegedly shot to death one young man and wounded another at a weekend baby shower was arrested Monday, police and sources said.

Dominique Love, 19, was charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder and criminal weapon possession.

Police were investigating the possibility that a fight broke out after Love crashed the Friday night party at 501 E. 165th St. near Third Avenue, sources said.

At the gathering, Love allegedly blasted Jamie Joseph, 20, in the torso and a 22-year-old man in the abdomen, police and sources said.

Both men were rushed early Saturday morning to Lincoln Hospital, where Joseph, a Brooklyn resident, died. The other man was in stable condition on Saturday.

Love lives in The Bronx, about 6 miles north of where the party was held, police said.

He was expected to be arraigned Monday evening.
