Man Critically Injured in Fall on Lexington Avenue Subway Tracks

NEW YORK CITY — A man was critically injured when he fell on the subway tracks on the Upper East Side, officials said.

The man, whose age was not clear, fell onto the tracks at 59th Street and Lexington Avenue just before 5:15 a.m., according to the FDNY.

Rescue workers took him to New York Hospital in traumatic arrest.

It was not clear what caused the fall.
