NEW YORK CITY — A young man was killed and another wounded in a shooting a Bronx party early Saturday morning, police and sources said.
Rescue workers found Jamie Joseph, 20, and a 22-year-old man shot outside 501 E. 165th St., near Third Ave., just after midnight.
Sources said that a fight broke out and that the victims may have been shot by party crashers.
Joseph, a Brooklyn resident, suffered several gunshot wounds to the torso, and the 22-year-old was shot to the abdomen, police said.
Both men were rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where Joseph died. The 22-year-old was in stable condition.
No arrests were made and descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available.
