Motorcyclist Killed in Central Park Crash, Officials Say

UPPER EAST SIDE — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Central Park Monday afternoon, officials said.

Jack Krugman, 68, an Upper East Side resident, was riding the 1997 BMW motorcycle in the park near East 96th Street and Fifth Avenue when he lost control and hit a curb just after 3:15 p.m., the FDNY and NYPD said.

Krugman was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
