BROOKLYN — A woman was struck and seriously hurt by a Jeep in East New York Monday afternoon, officials said.

The woman was pinned beneath the vehicle when it hit her at Pennsylvania and Livonia avenues about 1:35 p.m., the FDNY said.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in serious condition, with a severe injury to her left leg, the FDNY and NYPD said.

Police said there no criminality was suspected.
