NEW BRIGHTON — Cops are hunting for a group of teenagers wanted for allegedly beating a 54-year-old man and stealing his cellphone earlier this month.
At least four teens, age 15-18, approached the victim in front of 76 Westervelt Ave. at about 5:20 p.m. on Jan. 13, police said.
Police released stunning surveillance footage that shows the suspects approaching the man and beating him to the ground.
They can then be seen dragging him across the street, punching and kicking him before fleeing with his cellphone.
The extent of the victim's injuries was not immediately clear.
