ASTORIA — Cops are looking for a man who robbed a Queens cleaners at gunpoint, officials said.
The suspect entered Astoria Cleaners at 23-17 31st St. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, and pointed a shotgun at a female employee. He then allegedly struck her with the gun and stole cash.
After that, he fled in a black Volkswagon heading north on 31st Street, police said. The employee was not hospitalized.
Police described the suspect as a black male, 6-foot-1 or 6-foot-2, last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
