Thieves Swipe $3,000 in iPads from Brooklyn Target, Cops Say

FORT GREENE — Some local crooks got their New Year's Eve party started early.

Four thieves broke into a display case in the Target at 139 Flatbush Ave. about 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 31. They used an unknown device to disable a lock, then made off with 17 iPads, according to a police report.

The iPads were worth a total of $3,315, according to the police report.
