FOREST HILLS — Police are looking for a teenager who has allegedly stolen iPhones from seven people in Forest Hills in the past two weeks, according to the NYPD.
The thief struck twice on Dec. 20, first at Yellowstone Boulevard and 67th Avenue about 6:05 p.m. when he robbed a 42-year old man, police said. Two hours later, he is suspected of mugging a 39-year-old woman at Queens and Yellowstone boulevards.
Then on Christmas night, the teen targeted a 27-year-old woman at Queens Boulevard and 67th Avenue, according to police.
He allegedly went back to Yellowstone Boulevard and 67th Avenue on Dec. 28, robbing a 28-year-old woman about 6:25 p.m.
The following day he stole a phone from a 35-year-old woman at 102-25 67th Drive about 3:10 p.m., police said.
Finally, he allegedly struck twice more on Queens Boulevard, first on Dec. 31 and then again on Jan. 2, when he robbed a 54-year-old woman about 6:55 p.m., police said.
Police described the suspect as a 16- or 17-year-old teen wearing dark clothing.
