ASTORIA — A man whose advances were rejected by two women aboard an N train punched them each in the face, police said.

The train was hurtling through Astoria near 31st Street and Broadway about 4 a.m. on December 13 when the suspect tried to put his arm around an unsuspecting 27-year-old woman, according to the NYPD.

When the woman shoved him away, he slugged her in the face, cops said.

The man then sat next to another woman, 32, and tried to hug her, cops said.

When the second woman also pushed him away, he punched her in the face, too, and fled the train, police said.

Both women refused medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is between 40 and 50-years-old, about 5-foot-10 inches tall, with close cropped black hair, and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, according to police.

Anyone with information about the attack should submit a tip at NYPD Crime Stoppers or call 800-577-TIPS.
