Police Hunting for Suspects in Kensington Shooting

KENSINGTON — A 25-year-old man was shot in the groin shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday near the corner of Macdonald Avenue and Avenue F in Brooklyn.

The victim was walking home when three men approached him, police said. The victim engaged in a physical fight with the trio, when one of the suspects allegedly fired the nonfatal gunshot towards the victim's groin area, police said. The three men then fled westbound on Avenue F into Borough Park.

The three suspects are described as being men between the ages of 25 and 30 years old.

One suspect was wearing a blue Giants #22 jersey, one of them wore a white Nets #6 jersey and one was dressed in dark colored clothing. Police have apprehended two of the suspects, but have currently not released their identity.
