QUEENS — It's a holiday gift for your mouth.

This Saturday, Queens residents will have a variety of edible presents to choose from, including coconut fudge and truffles and tamarind candies, during the holiday edition of Queens County Market, a monthly pop-up that supports local food entrepreneurs.

Some of the most unique products will come from Trini Treats, a Bayside-based vendor debuting at the market, who will be offering confections from Trinidad and Tobago, such as Tamarind Balls and Coconut Fudge, “all made without artificial flavorings or preservatives,” according to Katrina Schultz Richter, the market’s founder.

Chocolate lovers will also have a variety of treats to choose from, including Cake Pops, Truffles, Mini Cupcakes and Boxed Chocolates made by The Chocolate Swirl, an Astoria-based chocolate shop.

For those who love ice cream regardless of the season, Long Island City’s shop, Malu, will be selling holiday-themed flavors, such as Candy Cane and Eggnog Chip.

Keenwa Krunch, also debuting at the market, will be offering healthy gluten-free and protein-packed snacks baked with fruit, nuts and quinoa, including Vanilla Almond Raisin, Cinnamon Cherry Pecan and Agave Walnut Date varieties.

There will be many other products available as well, including cheese spreads, eggplant curry, aromatic chai tea and spices.

The Buying Club of the Queens Harvest Food Co-op will also have its table at the market, offering winter salad greens, root vegetables, organic eggs, hearth breads and local honey. The co-op will be selling seasonal quiche and pumpkin pie by the slice and apple cider and eggnog by the glass. Profits will go towards forming Queens’ first co-op, which the group has been working on for several years.

Queens County Market is holding its event this Saturday, Dec. 15, at Quaint Restaurant, at 46-10 Skillman Ave., in Sunnyside, from noon to 4 p.m.
