ELMHURST — A 62-year-old woman was found dead inside a Queens home Sunday, police said.

Lorraine Cetrone was discovered at 8:20 a.m., unconscious and dead of apparent stab wounds in her back in a 54th Avenue home near 90th Street, according to the NYPD.

Cops responded to the apartment after residents complained of an odor coming from her home.

A 63-year-old man was also found at the scene, suffering from a stab wound in his chest, police said. He was in stable condition at Elmhurst Hospital Center on Sunday.

Neighbors said the 63-year-old man had lived in the second-floor apartment for years, and the woman was his girlfriend who moved in recently.

They said they hadn't heard any dispute preceding the incident, but the couple mostly kept to themselves.

On Monday, police arrested Robert Wall, 63, who lived in the same building as the victim, and charged him with murder and criminal posession of a weapon, the NYPD said.

Police could not immediately confirm that Wall was the man who had suffered a stab wound at the scene.
