Two Masked Robbers Held Up E. 161st Street Bodega at Gunpoint, Cops Say

CONCOURSE VILLAGE — Two masked thieves held up a bodega at gunpoint last month, police said.

The two suspects barged into 283 E. 161 St., near Morris Avenue, at about 11 p.m. on Wednesday November 28, the NYPD said.

One of the robbers drew a handgun and demanded everyone drop to the floor, cops said.

The gunman then demanded the clerk open the cash register, fleeing with an undetermined amount of money, cops said.

No one appears to be injured.

The gunman, seen in surveillance video released by the NYPD, was wearing a black head wrap, a dark bandana over his or her face, a large dark jacket, grey shirt, dark pants and shoes.

The second suspect, seen in the footage rummaging through the store's merchandise, was wearing a large grey bubble jacket.
