BROOKLYN — An off-duty police officer was arrested early Friday for drunk driving in Brooklyn, the third officer to be arrested for drunk driving in a week, according to police.

Miguel Ocasio, 30, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. after being pulled over in the 75th Precinct, which covers East New York and Cypress Hills, police said.

He was charged with resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test, police said.

Ocasio's arrest marks the third time in a week that an off-duty police officer was arrested on charges of drunk driving.

Early Saturday morning, Felix Recio, 32, who in August had his foot run over by the boyfriend of a star from "The Hills," was arrested for alleged drunk driving in Queens.

And on Monday morning, off-duty officer and former Marine Ismile Althaibani, 29, was arrested after allegedly driving drunk and getting into a car accident, also in Queens.
